3 Tbsp hot water
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda in 1 Tbsp water
Dissolve, cool to warm
1/2 cup shortening (100g)
1/2 cup superfine sugar
Cream in mixer
Add sugar water and beat
2 cup flour
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp salt
Whisk
Stir into mixer until dough
Add a few Tbsp of water if necessary
Rest at least 2 hours
Roll 1/8" thick
Decorate with sprinkle sugar
375° F, 8-10 minutes
